Parking Angel’s unique patented design uses the latest low-power RF technology to provide an effective wire-free reversing aid specifically for trailers and motorhomes. Parking Angel’s Standard system has a unique ‘profile’ strip, which contains 4 high quality digital sensors and a low-power RF transmitter in a ready-to-?t durable water-resistant housing. The 'profile' strip is available in black or white and can be mounted as a single-piece or as a two-piece unit which is powered by the vehicle’s reversing light circuit and activates automatically when reverse gear is selected. Detected objects from 160cm (63in) down to within 30cm (12in) from the rear of the vehicle will trigger the alarm. The 30cm (12in) final stage detection range can be adjusted to 50cm (20in) or 70cm (28in) to allow for rear-mounted racks. The Parking Angel is unaffected by the weather and works both during the day and at night.

The receiver emits audible tones that vary depending on the distance of any detected object at the rear of the vehicle. The receiver comes with a fused lighter plug, 270 degree swivel-joint and volume control. The RF transmitter signal has a range of up to 20m (65ft) so even the largest vehicles can take advantage of this system without the need to route wiring to the front of the vehicle.
